Q: What is Single Sign‐On (SSO)?

A: SSO is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use ONE set of login credentials (e.g. email and password) to access multiple applications (between the website and the Online Campus).

Q: Why do I need SSO?

A: Access to multiple applications by using a single set of credentials and increase productivity for people who use the authentication service.

Q: What are SSO Benefits?

A: –Ability to enable users to securely access multiple applications with a single set of credentials, entered once.

-With just ONE password to remember, time spent reentering passwords for the same identity is reduced.

-Decreased number of Technology Help Desk calls regarding passwords.

Q: I am stuck. What do I do?

A: Please contact us.

Q: What is the web address (URL) for SSO?

A: The URL for SSO is: https://my.brm.institute/account/login.aspx

Q: How do I login to the SSO?

A: 1) Navigate to https://my.brm.institute/account/login.aspx

2) Enter your email address and password there.

3) If you have forgotten your password, click the “click here to reset your password” text.

Q: What about my old Online Campus login credentials?

A: You used to have to remember a username and password to get into the Online Campus. Now you don’t. The way you get into the Online Campus is exactly the same way you get into the main website. Once you log in to either, you are automatically logged in to both. Therefore, the old username and password you had for the Online Campus no longer works.

Q: What happens to all of my bookmarks?

A: Any browser bookmarks you had into the Online Campus will still work. The only difference will be the way you log in.

Q: I’ve never logged in to the new website before. What do I do?

A: If you have never logged into the new website before, you will have to initially and set your password in order to get to the Online Campus. Fortunately, the process is easy: Click the “Forgot password” link on the login window and an email will be sent to you with a link allowing you to set your password. The email address that BRM Institute has on file for you is the email that address you should use to log in. It is also the one used in this password reset notification.
