Peter Lijnse named BRM Institute Regional Ambassador for North America
In keeping with BRM Institute’s commitment to supporting the global BRM community, we are excited to announce the appointment of Peter Lijnse from Lead The Pack Consulting to the position of BRM Institute Regional Ambassador for North America.
Global Ambassadors invest in BRMs around the world by bringing awareness to the field and accelerating their path to professional success.
These ambassadors help build critical communication and advocacy between BRMs by providing essential connections, strengthening new and existing networks, and helping to create measurable impact in organizations. The Global Ambassador program is a critical component of BRM Institute’s efforts to help create a sustainable future for our members and organizations worldwide.
Peter Lijnse is the owner of Lead The Pack Consulting, a coaching and education company focused solely on business relationship management. Peter has over 25 years of IT management experience and is a recognized expert and thought leader in business relationship management, with a focus on helping organizations deliver business value.
A founding member of BRM Institute since its inception in 2013, Peter is currently a member of the BRM Institute Knowledge Management Team and received the Trailblazer award from BRM Institute in both 2015 and 2016.
The Global Ambassador program is a critical component of BRM Institute’s efforts to help create a sustainable future for our members and organizations worldwide.
In 2017, he received the BRM Excellence award for his impact on the BRM community through his work on the Knowledge Management Team, as well as his weekly videos, BRM Café podcast, and global presentations.
As Regional Ambassador, Peter plans to host webinars and events aimed at bringing local BRMs together for networking and career advancement opportunities, as well as developing content and news on relevant issues facing BRMs today. He also plans to continue producing videos and the BRM Café podcast to provide organizations with the knowledge required to build a successful BRM capability.
He is currently developing guidance for BRM Institute on the subject of becoming a value-focused organization.
Peter states, “Although the BRM role seems to be well-established in a lot of organizations in North America, there is still a lot of work to accomplish to get business relationship management the C-Level exposure it deserves. I am looking forward to supporting the efforts of BRM Institute to make that happen.”
