No More Ticket Trouble: BRMs Break Free from Tactical to Strategic

/

Let’s talk about the magic that happens when IT and business come together. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is the ultimate connector, bridging the gap between technology, HR, finance, and overall business goals. Yet, despite how essential this role is, many organizations struggle to fully harness the potential of their BRM Capability. Often, the role is seen as more tactical than strategic, and BRMs are pulled into daily operations, which makes it difficult to elevate them to the strategic level they were meant to achieve.

For example, we’ve recently heard from an organization who’s BRM team was caught up managing help desk tickets- simply because their roles were misunderstood. This is a perfect example of how BRMs can get bogged down in the minutiae, leaving little time or energy for the big picture work that drives REAL business value.
