Newest BRM Institute Regional Ambassador for France: Catherine Gapaillard
We are excited to announce a new volunteer BRM Institute Regional Ambassador for France: the recipient of the 2016 BRM Institute Community Leadership Award, Catherine Gapaillard.
BRM Institute Global Ambassadors expand the global BRM community across nations and industries alike by driving awareness and adoption of business relationship management and accelerating the path to BRM professional success.
By helping to build critical communication and advocacy through essential connections, strengthening existing BRM networks, and creating measurable impact in organizations, the BRM Institute Global Ambassador program is a critical voluntary component of BRM Institute’s efforts to create a sustainable future for our members and organizations.
Catherine Gapaillard is an independent consultant, trainer, and coach based in Paris, France. She has over 15 years of experience in helping IT professionals build successful strategic relationships with their business partners. In the past, Catherine has worked for large management consulting firms and led the IT governance department of a major insurance company.
Catherine conducts IT master plans and works specifically on the dynamics of value creation by assisting managing directors, business managers, and IT managers in establishing strong partnerships.
She also conducts conferences on the themes of strategy, governance, and BRM. Catherine has her Governance of Enterprise IT (ISACA-CGEIT) and Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP®) certifications.
In 2016, Catherine received the Community Leadership Award from BRM Institute for being a leader in the global BRM community, encouraging member engagement, and developing the BRM capability.
She also created the first French BRM professional network “BRM France,” demonstrating her commitment to BRM Institute’s mission of increasing the adoption and awareness of BRM in France.
As Global Ambassador, she plans to bring local BRMs together for networking and career advancement opportunities, in addition to developing a blog with videos in French to share BRM content.
The BRM Institute Global Ambassador program is a critical voluntary component of BRM Institute’s efforts to create a sustainable future for our members and organizations.
Catherine states, “I am firmly convinced that the digital revolution will significantly change organizations and management modes. The success of companies is increasingly linked to the ability of employees to work together outside of existing relational models. My objective is to develop the knowledge and practice of Business Relationship Management in France and in French-speaking areas.”
We congratulate and welcome Catherine in her new role as Regional Ambassador for France, and we look forward to seeing where her innovative expertise and leadership takes the field of BRM in the near future.
It would be great to exchange experiences and ideas about BRM in European countries and explore the ambassador role. The subject of my eMBA thesis will be BRM.
