BRM Council Corner: The Globalisation of BRM Institute

Posted | Category: BRM Community | Contributed

After two hugely successful North American conferences in 2015 and 2016, BRM Institute has begun spreading its wings and building its global reach.

Last week, hundreds of BRMs converged in Sydney, Australia for BRMConnect, the only professional events series for BRMs worldwide, to. increase their understanding of the art and discipline of business relationship management.

Well-received by domestic and international attendees alike, BRMConnect is in part created and run by members of the BRM Council, an advisory group comprised of BRMs who are engaged and passionate about developing a toolkit of knowledge for fellow professionals. As these events go on, we get more and more eager requests to join the Council, which is especially exciting because the more that members put in, the more value comes out for everyone.

While the BRM Council works on solving a variety of challenges, our next big challenge is discovering how to organise and harness people’s potential on a global level, in order to produce the maximum value possible. Luckily, as BRMs, value is our middle name!

We’re in the process of developing a plan, so now is a great time to get involved in the BRM Council. As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and we hold strong to the belief that between all of our potential, we can achieve great things on a massive scale. Exciting doesn’t even begin to describe the next chapter of BRM Institute’s history, and we hope you can all join us along for the ride.
