reuben connollyFollowing a successful launch and in response to growing demand, Business Relationship Management Institute (BRM Institute) announced an expansion to its exclusive members-only “BRMs Developing BRMs™” Communities of Interest program. Communities of Interest aim to give the Institute’s members representing particular industries, geographies, or sharing common professional interests an effective platform for online discussions, collaboration, and mutual professional growth.

Communities of Interest program was launched to help BRM Institute members expand their knowledge and grow their professional network through the development of informal yet meaningful peer-to-peer relationships with the added value of belonging to a community aligned to their particular areas of interest. The number and types of Communities of Interest are rapidly evolving with several of them already started and growing steadily including the Asia Pacific and United Kingdom geography-specific as well as the Higher Education, Healthcare, and High Technology industry-specific communities.

Chris Lucas, community leader for Higher Education Community of Interest, said, “The Higher Education Community of Interest will be a place for those of us working as business relationship managers in the academic environment to build a strong community whose members are willing to share their successes, challenges, questions, and best practices as well as provide support to their peers. The community will be owned by its members who will drive the direction and focus of the group. This is a great opportunity to expand your professional network and learn from your peers.”

To see what it’s all about and learn more or to set up your own Community of Interest, become a BRM Institute member or email us for more information.
